World Wildlife Fund, Healthy Reefs Initiative and partners are having a candlelight vigil at 7pm on Friday, December 11th, 2009 in Belize City, at the Belize City Swing Bridge. This is part of a global action calling for a strong binding agreement to reduce CO2 that will be taken directly to the Climate Conference in Copenhagen. Our historic landmark bridge, our city, our reef, our economy and our very lives are threatened by the escalating impacts of climate change.

Join us at 7pm with you hurricane lamp or candle and be a part of this historic moment and our video message o Copenhagen. Wear black or dark clothing or an Earth Hour t-shirt if you have one...and join us on a walk down Albert and Regent Streets, ending at the Battlefield Park. This battle is for the planet and can not be lost.

We look forward to seeing you there! Learn more and sign the global petition at: www.350.org
