We'll arrive 3/26...can't wait. Speaking of weight, we are trying to keep luggage at 40 lbs. We will be "beach/bar hopping" at night. What is the temp? Will we need a jacket. We're staying at Ramons. My dad died Tuesday, funeral tomorrow. Man, will I ever neeeeeed this vacation!!! He just couldn't cope after Mom died in '99. See ya'll real soon!

Geckogirl, I just returned from AC on Saturday and at the most, you might need a very light weight jacket. The only reason you might need one is if you got a little too much sun that day so the tradewinds (can't say breeze, little stronger than that)feel a little cool on your skin. Or I also met a couple who had been diving all day and couldn't quite warm up so they had jackets on.

So sorry about your Dad..lost mine 5 years ago, but still have Mom, thank goodness...he would never have made it without her, so I feel your pain..hang in there..AC is a magical place, you will have a good time. Have never been to AC in March, only in September, but we have traveled to the Carribean every January or February for the past 8 years and we have never felt the need for a jacket at night, but if you tend to get cold easily, I would take one..we usually wear a very light weight jacket when we leave home in Kentucky (we usually have kind of mild winters)for the airport, but never end up wearing them until we get home. First trip to AC?

Thanks Mary and Scott for your note about my Dad. We had a great service for him and all the relatives were there. It's about the only time we all get together. I don't think I will take a jacket and just "tough it out if I get chilly. Thanks again.
