How much rain is normal per year on A/C and how much have you gotten thus far for 2009?

55 to 60 inches annually, with approximately 60% of it between July & November. I don't know how much they've had year to date.

AC has been and is always different than what the national weather people predict. Were off the coast and the tip of the Yucatan the predictions/forecast that are for the mainland of Belize and its coastal areas hardly get close to what happens here.
I don't know who measures rain on the island ,maybe Amanda but what The National Weather Service says is hardly pertainate.

Look under precipitation. You can check daily, weekly, monthly, yearly or use the custom link to set the dates you want. 12/15/08 to 12/16/09 shows a total of 44.88"

The station has only been up about that long. You can request data directly from the Belize Meteorological Service at http://www.hydromet.gov.bz/Data_Request.htm

Seems to me that we had close to 14" on June 1, 2008 when "Arthur" formed right off the coast of San Pedro. That was a lot of rain.
