It will be my first AC trip in June. If I decide to stay on Ac the entire 7 nights would it be difficult or expensive to explore the cayo district. I am interested in cave tubing, siteseeing, and adventurous stuff as well as snorkeling.

i would strongly suggest you get a place in cayo for a few days. there is so much to see & do there. it is beautiful. we rented a jeep too, but you dont have to. we wanted to go where we wanted , when we wanted. there are guides you can pay to take you around.

Hi James! We are doing the Surf and Turf thing in June. Maybe this will work for you as well. We are staying 6 nights on AC and than fly to the Munincipal Airport where we get picked up by Budget. We will get our rental Suzuki Jimmy 4x4 and stop at the Belize Zoo on the way to Pook's Hill Jungle Lodge in the Cayo area where we stay 3 nights.
