I lived in Harbin for 3 months in 2003 - just missed this event by a few weeks. One of the people we met when I worked there actually took 2nd place that year - a fine arts professor from the university. He sent us pictures of his sculpture. Don't recall what it was, but pretty incredible.

Nice to see this event be properly accredited - frequently get sent this by email and it will say it is from Alaska - when it really is the Harbin event.
