I know the right to bear (and discharge) arms in the US is controversial, but should this even have been possible?

We just watched a Myth Busters episode regarding this subject - and the results were quite interesting - it is well worth the watch - then you can judge for yourself.

Peter, it is a right under the constitution to "bear arms", but it is not a right to discharge those arms in the manner that killed that young child. It is a felony to discharge in celebration and would be, at least, manslaughter if not murder under these circumstances. I hope they catch and put the SOB away for a very long time!!!!
