We are coming in late June and we plan on doing some fishing(spinning/casting, not fly.) Can anyone recommend any good guides or operations? I know that some of the tour companies also do fishing along with diving, etc., but is there anyone that just concentrates on fishing? Thanks for your input!

If you can get Gabby Perez to take you on a fishing trip, I can say that you will not be dissapointed.

Try Bobby Gonzalez. He does not have a web site, doesn't even own a computer but we fished with him several times and were never disappointed. He is located three houses north of The Tides Hotel, right next door to Brianna's House. We only fished for food but I watched him come in with other client's and they always had some huge something or other. Plus, he is a really nice, nice man.

We have gone fishing with Mr. Luz Guerrero for many years. I have his daughter's email if you want it. He does a fantastic Shore Lunch with a full day fishing.
Belize it!

Just got back. Did two fishing trips. One with Hilly Boo that focused mostly on the lagoon and south end of the island because of the wind. Only one fish was landed about a 2 foot Baracuda. Next trip was with Hill and we went up to Rock point (North)and fished inside and outside the reef. This trip landed 2 baracuda, one that looked like a pissed off shark, and three schnappers. Up north we had more hits than we could count. Met up with a guide that goes by Tulu, he seemed to know his stuff because all we heard people talk about were the 20 tuna they landed in one day. Mary or Johna at Caye management should be able to put you in touch with any of them. Tell them that "three Jim's and a Pat" sent you.
