Can anyone provide info on the Tropica Beach? Do they have a pool? Bar? Restaurant?

We stayed at Banana Beach next door to the Tropica Resort for 45 days. The Tropica has a lovely restaurant with inside (and a crab museum) and outside seating. Outside is also a bar. The view from there overlooks Tropica's deck pool (lovely) and swaying palms on the beach. It is grand. Tell Douglas, the rest. manager, "hello." He is very friendly and service oriented. A great place to stay.

Spent two weeks at the Tropica. It was great having the pool so close to the bar & the beach. Restaurant was really good and I especially enjoyed the full breakfast included in our rate. Dave at the bar made some pretty interesting and deadly cocktails.

Looking forward to our next stay there!

We are also looking into the Tropica Resort for fall, and e-mailed them for information. They were very prompt with their reply, and the place looks great. Check their web-site under lodging..you can see their menus for their restaurants, pictures of the beach, rooms, etc.Hope it works out for you.

How about beach access at the Tropica? The beach looks great on the website. Is it as nice as it looks? Thanks!

Thanks for all the feedback. We have booked our stay and look forward to June 10! The staff at the Tropica were very prompt and helpful.
One last question...do we need to bring beach towels or does the Tropica provide?
