My husband is currently in route from Grand Cayman on our 35' catamaran that is going into charter with TMM in San Pedro. Once he arrives there (expected to be Sat.) he will need a place to stay for a 3-5 days near the airport. Any idea if he will be able to find a decent place this time of year? Any specfic recommendations? I am hesitant to make reservations for him as I am not positive of his actual arrival time.

The Embassy Hotel is across the parking lot from the airport. They have lots of rooms and are quite flexible. Their website is: www.embassyhotelbelize.com

Which airport? I assume San Pedro is the airport you are referring to, as I don't think he will want to stay in Belize City for 3 - 4 nights when he probably has a great deal of business to conduct with TMM.

If it's San Pedro, the Sunbreeze Hotel on AC http://www.sunbreezehotel.com would be a good choice. Nice property across from the airport with pool and air.

The TMM office is located near the airport on AC, so that is where he would be looking to stay.

Try the Palms--about 100 yeds from the airport
