Can anyone recommend a good travel insurance company? Have obtained some information on one company but in order to have any pre-existing conditions waived including family members not traveling with you the insurance must be paid for within 7 days of the trip down payment.Already missed this deadline...traveling to A/C in June..

Mr. B. I just bought trip insurance for upcoming trip 5/5-12. I did this because the hotel has strict rules on refunds. I don't remember the company I used (the brochure came with some things from the hotel) but it definitely had the same type of pre-existing conditions policy as well. The only difference there is is that this policy has a 14 day waiver instead of 7 days of the trip down payment. If you'd like, I can get the name of the company for you.

Try Access America or CSA, both are respected.
