Great article. I was in a competitive show choir in high school that travelled extensively. The show is actually based in Ohio because of the tradition here is especially strong. I'm a proud "Gleek"

I was in a professional choir years ago and while we didn't perform glees to the public we often did them informally. Great fun. I must say I thought they started in the US - didn't realise that the settlers took it with them from England.

I love this show. Previously I had no idea what Glee Clubs were all about - such fun!

I haven't watched the show but after seeing ads in the magazines and reading this article I think I will give it a shot. I love hearing the unsynthesized voices in harmony. Looking forward to watching an episode. I haven't carried a tune in years. Probably can't but I haven't tried since moving to Belize.

hahaha. I'll be there next month and while I can't carry a tune compared to Mrs. Otter, imbibing has its affects -- and for you, anything!
