A group of hard working local women have combined their skills and enthusiasm to fundraise for and support a new semi pro football team representing San Pedro. At 1pm on Sunday the 14 of February at the football stadium, you can show your love for San Pedro by supporting the launch of the new team playing a match against Corozal. This is planned to be a spectacular event with well known local band Rompe Raja kicking of the action and the San Pedro Dance Company, as always, will dazzle and entertain everyone. For this team to succeed, it will need the support of the San Pedro community. Businesses and individuals are encouraged to find out more about how they can support this great new initiative and as Susana Eiley, one of the women supporting the new team said, 'Bring the cup back to San Pedro'.
