Killed a small lion fish, tried to get another 1 but he got away.

After that got this nice sized snapper (i think its a snapper?) bout to clean and cook him.

Not bad for first time out with a simple pole spear!

Thats a Grunt, sometimes they don't taste all that good, depends on what they have been feeding on. From what I've read here on the board the Lion fish should be tasty.

people actually eat lion fish? and yeah i just figured out its a caesar grunt. Hope hes been eating lobster ;x

Grunt are quite nice. Cut away the dirty looking meat when you fillet them and cook them like snapper.

Grunts are the easiest fish to spear as they tend to just sit there as you line up, As you get more experience fishing you will ignore them and go for more tastier fish such as snappers which taste a helluva lot better than Grunts.

What happened to the horse eyed jacks ? too quick for you LOL

man i think they jacks heard i got a spear, the whole school is freaking gone! lol. Maybe its the time of the day. gonna go early and later tomorrow and see.
