Paula Vasquez Claims $90,000 Jackpot
As we told you at the top of the newscast, Lotto is in a state of suspended
animation as their license has not been renewed. And that is just fine by Paula
Vasquez who hit Saturday’s $90,000 jackpot. She matched all five numbers
– 7, 12, 15, 17, and 21. She picked up her check this morning and told
us the feeling is surreal. She says the numbers were a quick pick.

“It was a quick pick, two quick picks I did on Saturday and I was
lucky. 5 of the numbers were the winning Lotto and three were Match 3 so it
was a lucky pick for me.”

“When did you find out you had won?”
Paula Vasquez,
“Sunday morning, a call from my mother. She asked me if I got the
numbers, I said no and I called the hotline. They said it was a single winner
and I said wow when I checked my ticket I went like wow and it was real exciting.
I informed close family and friends.”
Keith Swift,
“Why did you wait until to come and claim it?”
Paula Vasquez,
“Well I still have to get it validated, to put it in my head that
I won it and I just wanted to make sure. It is still a wow moment, I am still
overwhelmed by the win.”
Keith Swift,
“What are you going to do with all the money?”
Paula Vasquez,
“Well Keith pay bills, give my mom a vacation, and home improvement.
That is what I am going to do and it is already in the bank so I am safe. I
have been playing off and on and I am a frequent winner of three numbers so
I felt like one of these days I would have won and it was my lucky pick.”
After taxes, Vasquez took home $76,500.
