I just got off the phone with someone in their office in Washington State, US. She tells me that Manta was evacuated on Friday. So good news, everyone is okay and apparently the boat ride was not even too bad. Guests arriving Saturday who couldn't be contacted in time to turn them back were sent to a resort inland in the Cayo district. She understood that Glover's reef was not hit as hard as places further north and west, but adds that they won't know the extent of the damage until it's safe to go back out. She assured me they'll do whatever they have to to get up and running again ASAP, which is good because it's a beautiful place (we had just left last Wednesday, before Kieth was even on the map, i suppose).
