So . . . as our arrival date approaches, it is time for me to plan what to pack, specifically items for my good health. What do vodka and cigarettes cost in Belize? Pack it or buy it?

Get it at the duty free shop at the Belize Int. airport.

local rum is cheap & quite good - no real need for the vodka, unless u can't do without. the local smokes on the other hand...well, i don't love them, and they're not so cheap. try to buy before you get there. dunno about chet - if you have a air layover in the states, hit duty free there.

If one is a vodka drinker, then one wants vodka. Vodka is somewhat expensive on the island, as these things go. As others have said, stock up at duty free.
