Hi All - Wondering the best place on the island (Ambergris) to buy a new or good used set of golf cart tires, and a ballpark amount of how much I should expect to pay.

If you are looking for standard golf cart wheels, check at the golf cart rental spots, you can pick them up for 15 to 25 belize each, if you want the oversized tires and rims go to Captn Sharks, I do not know the price of new ones.

For new tires call Reimer's Service Station in Orange Walk. I have sent a dozen people to them, all came out happy and paying much, much less than any quote they got here. They are fair and honest and the cost is about 1/2 the price you will pay here for new ones. They will ask you to put the money, about $125.00 for each tire, in their account then they ship on Tuesdays, about 5$ per tire.

Just don't get the car tread tires, get the mudders. I bought a set of the car tread tires as I figured they would be quieter and they started falling apart within 9 months. Captain Shark's ended up giving me a whole new set of mudders in the end (without any hassle by the way).

Very good of them. I presume you bought the original tires from them?
