Probably if you need to know this info you can't receive it, but I'll give a try anyway.
Power outage up our way (Mata Grande and parts north, not sure about areas near but south of us) should be cleared up by around 9:30 am. A line seems to have gone down last night - it was around midnight when the first of several brow-outs happened, followed by a complete outage.
We finally turned on the gene around 6 am.

It just came back here, the phone came back as well.
Hard doing business in this isn't it!
Thoes brown outs are worse on motors than spikes and surges. The well pump went out so no shave or shower this morning.
Stinky

My attitude more than my smell.
If anyone wants to start a revolution to overthrow the government and start anew with something that can supply us with phone service , internet, electricity, water , sewer, police protection, and organized enough to collect and spend property taxes to the benefit the of the whole.
I'm in the mood!

We pay business tax which is a gross receipts tax that is paid on a monthly basis. There are no permitted deductions.

Ashcrofts businesses must pay the business tax, so he is being taxed.

If individuals are to be taxed after they have already paid their gross receipts/business tax we will have a rebellion.

I just want reliable electricity - BEL wants regular payments, we deserve regular service that does not destroy our appliances. Seems fair enough?

You'd think by now BEL would have accumulated enough experience on this island to know how to put poles and lines up and have them stay there. This is basic construction, not rocket science.

Depends how your company is set up. If you are a limited liability company and you work for your company then technically you should pay P.A.Y.E if your salary qualifies. Correct me if I am wrong.
