What are the rules for diving in Belize? Is it required to have a guide to scuba dive? If so, please guide me to where I can review their laws.

We all wish there was a place to review laws like this. It would make life so much simpler down here.
The Tour Guides Association is fairly powerful and they say, No diving on the reef without a licensed Belizean Tour guide'.
If you want to challenge that your likely to get your boat impounded by the Tourist Police.
We have organized tours to the reef for diving with trained divemaster/tour guides to protect the reef from damage and keep the divers safe.
