Harriette - I believe it is a photograph, but with a great deal of post-processing. I took it from a photographic discussion forum, where it was posted without any description. As John used to drive these things I thought perhaps he could identify it.

Judging by the number of wheels on the tracks, I would venture to say it is of the British Churchill tank configurations.
What say you John?

You are spot on, the wheels looks like a Churchill MK 1V. I have been told it is a Churchill blocked buster.

Actually Harriette, you were pretty close to the mark. It was a photograph deliberately processed so as to look like a painting. I believe it's termed a "smudge painting".
