I was given several different phone numbers for the Holiday Hotel but none of them seem to go through. I am calling from the US and I was wondering if the Holiday Hotel has a number for the front desk?? Will someone answer the phone day or night??

You probably will not get an answer this late at night best to try during the daytime during normal office hours.

That's really frustrating. I am use to hotels/lodging that have a front desk person 24/7. Always 'someone' to answer the phone or at least have a message machine. I guess I am expecting too much.

Many Belize Hotels are very small and do not have 24 hour receptions the bigger ones do but most small ones do not and only man the reception during the daytime and early evening.

They normally have a watchman on duty in case a guest needs something.

We also do not have a rotary system whereby you dial one number and it rotates down to a series of other incoming lines.
So - call during normal working hours and if it's busy try another number or try again.
Time in Belize is GMT-6.
Good luck getting through. They should be in office sometime after 7 or 8 AM.

You'll understand it more once you visit. Island life is a hair bit more laid back than back home.

The office closes around 7 or 8pm and opens around 6am each day.

Group Hunt
Group Hunt provides your business with a tool in ensuring that you provide the necessary service to your clients. You are provided with several phone lines, however only one number is advertised. When your clients call the number, if it is busy, the call will roll over to the other phone lines provided.

So it looks like we do have that type of service after all.

I had that service at Protech, but it only worked intermittently.
