Here is the pricing information for having a booth at the San Pedro
Lobsterfest Block Party on Saturday June 19th and also for the Arts &
Cultural Festival Event that will be occurring that day.

Arts & Cultural Festival Event
Saturday June 19th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm

This event will occur in Central Park during the daytime, and feature
Arts & Crafts Displays, Cultural Exhibitions and more.

Table Pricing:
Food Vendors - $150 Bz,
Non Food Vendors: $100 Bz.
This allows you to set up inside Central Park. You will receive a
Table (but no tent) and all applicable licenses etc. The cost also
covers garbage pick up, organization and promotion of the event.
Perfect for Artists, Craftsman and more.

Lobsterfest Block Party
Saturday June 19th from 5:00 pm on

Booth Pricing: $350 Bz
Includes Tent/Booth, Electricity (bring an extension cord), all
applicable licenses, garbage pick up, organization and promotion. You
will also be eligible to participate in the Food Competition (more
details to come, Joey Stevens from WSEE will be a Celebrity Judge for
this event), Drink Competition and the Booth Competition.

If you would like to be there for both events, you may rent your
Booth/Tent for the full day and night for $450 Bz.

The Food Competition & Booth Competition is only open to Businesses
that Rent a booth.
The Drink Competition is open to all, however non-booth renters will
need to pay a $100 entry fee.

NEW - Charity and Community Organizations may also set up in the New
Community Corner. There is no charge for this area but participants
much be a registered charity or community organization. More
information on this will be coming very shortly.

Booth space is limited, and booth placement is based on a first come
(and pay) first serve basis. Both the Block Party and the Arts &
Cultural Festival will be filmed by the TV Crew of Joey Stevens of
One Caribbean Weather and WSEE TV this year. This is a great
opportunity to get your business on International Television (the US
and all of the Caribbean).

Payment can be made at the Seaduced by Belize Office, located across
from the RC School in the Vilma Linda Plaza. For more information

Hello All,
Just wanted to follow up regarding Booths for Lobsterfest Town Block
Party on June 19th and other issues.

1. Booth Rentals are going very quickly. If you would like a Booth for
the Block Party please contact Rebecca at Seaduced asap: 226.2254.
Don't forget that tables are available for the daytime Arts & Culture
Festival as well - from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Combined day & night
packages are available as well.

2. Volunteers for the Town Block Party Event. We are also looking for
people that would be interested in Volunteering the night of the block
party. Volunteers will be asked to spend some time in the Official
Lobsterfest booth to sell T-shirts, Accept votes for the Booth
Competition as well as being 'around' the Park to answer visitors'
questions. Please let us know if you would be interested in
Volunteering.

3. Sponsorship Opportunities - Sponsorships are still available in the
range of $500 to $1000 Bz. These sponsors will receive local media
coverage etc. This money will go towards ensuring that this year's
Block Party Shines. The Block Party is the Main filming event for
WSEE/One Caribbean Weather and we want to ensure that the Event looks
amazing for the Cameras. This Sponsorship money will go towards
Decorating the Main Stage, Signage Promoting the Event, Promotion,
Prizing, Garbage Collection etc.

The organizers of San Pedro Lobsterfest are pleased to announce the official schedule for Lobsterfest 2010. Enjoy 5 days of fun, celebrating the official opening of Lobster Season in the tropical paradise of Belize. In addition to some new twists on the traditional Lobsterfest Town Block Party (June 19th), the organizers have arranged a variety of Events throughout the week that are sure to please the entire family. San Pedro Lobsterfest 2010 is going to be HOT HOT HOT, as celebrity weatherman Joey Stevens and Bob the Parrot of One Caribbean Weather/WSEE TV will be on the island filming the entire week's events. Monday June 14th 2010, starting at 6:00 pm

San Pedro Lobsterfest 2010 officially kicks off on Monday June 14th with El Divino's "Meat & Greet" Cocktail Party. Starting at 6:00 pm, this event features Drink Specials, Prizes and Live Entertainment by Banda Cubana. El Divino will also be introducing its brand new Tapas Menu. With great food, great friends and a fun atmosphere, this is always a 'must do' event.

Tuesday June 15th 2010, starting at 11:00 am.
Fido's Beach Carnival, BBQ and Lobster Weigh-In

Featuring a Carnival-style atmosphere, enjoy a full day event with Beach Games, A Horseshoe Tournament, an Enormous Raffle, Live Music, 'Grill Your Own Lobster' Beach BBQ and the Official Lobsterfest Opening Day Weigh-In. Play the Lobster Spin, Lobster Darts or Pin the Tail on the Lobster to win great prizes. Bring your 'A' Game to the horseshoe tournament (Sign up by 1:00pm, starts at 2:00pm). Grill your own Lobster or choose from the Special Lobster Menu. Win great prizes from Local Businesses in the Raffle (4:00 pm - all proceeds to the Flow River Flow Foundation), Watch the Official Lobster Weigh-in and then dance the night away.

The Official San Pedro Lobsterfest Pub Crawl

The fun begins at 6:30 pm at the Lime located across the street from Tropic Air. Kick off this Pub Crawl in style with Drink & Food Specials and other fun surprises. The girls from Lime know how to throw a great party. The Pub Crawl continues on to the Tacklebox Bar & Grill at 8:00 pm for Free snacks, $1 wings and Spin Night. Enjoy the view from this beautiful dock. The Roadkill Bar is the next stop at 9:30 pm for a special night of fun Karaoke, high jinx and more. The Pub Crawl then finishes at a special version of Wet Willy's World Famous Ladies Night from 11:00 pm on.

Lobsterfest Arts & Culture Festival

Join us in San Pedro's Central Park in the afternoon for the 1st ever Lobsterfest Arts & Culture Festival featuring live music, arts & craft displays and Belizean Cultural exhibits from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Featuring local artists and entertainment, this new event will highlight the rich culture of Ambergris Caye and Belize to locals and tourists alike.

San Pedro Lobsterfest Town Block Party

The ever-popular 'Lobsterfest Town Block Party' will be the grand finale of San Pedro Lobsterfest 2010 and kicks off at 5:00 pm in Central Park. This Event features the Lobsterfest King and Queen Pageant, Live Entertainment by Belize's own Supa G, Food Competitions, Drink Competitions, Booth Competitions and a whole lot of fun! It's the party of the year and you do not want to miss it.

In addition to Food Booths, the Town Block Party will also feature a new 'Community Corner' where local charities and community organizations can set up displays and draw attention to the many worthwhile causes in San Pedro.

Lobsterfest King and Queen Pageant participants will be required to perform a unique talent on stage for the judges, and points will be awarded for costume & appearance as well as their talent. This competition is open to all.

The 'Flavor of San Pedro' Drink competition will feature the best bartenders in San Pedro creating the perfect cocktail on stage, to be judged by a panel of celebrity judges. Points will be awarded for presentation as well as the quality of their creation. This competition is open to all bartenders, even if they do not have a booth.

The Best Lobster Dish competition and People's Choice Booth competition are open only to businesses that are participating in the Block Party. The celebrity judges will once again be called on to select the best food of the night, while everyone will be able to vote on crowning the best overall booth.

Participants in the Food Competition will be judged both on the quality of their food as well as the presentation of their dishes from their booth to the judges table. The creativity of their presentation as they move through the crowd to present their dishes to the judges is a key component this year.

Meat & Greet Cocktail Party - Lobsterfest Kickoff

Lobster Fest kicked off last night at El Divino Restaurant at Banana Beach Resort with lots of great food, cocktails, drink specials, prizes and live entertainment by Banda Cubana. On hand to welcome our visitors to Lobster Fest was Mayor Elsa Paz along with Joey Stevens and Bob the Parrot who were filming the event to showcase at One Caribbean Weather/WSEE TV. Lobster season opened today and fishermen have already headed to their lobster traps as early at 5a.m. to haul in as much lobster as possible. Today Fido's hosts a Beach Carnival, BBQ and Lobster Weigh-in with plenty of entertainment, music and LOBSTER for all.

Fido's Courtyard kicks off Lobster Fest 2010

It's the grand opening of Lobster Season once again and Fido's Courtyard just received its first mass supply of Lobsters. As of early this morning, fishermen have been flocking to the seas in an attempt to capture the largest and best lobsters. Fido's Courtyard is presently offering a $100.00 gift certificate for the largest Lobster brought into the restaurant. Throughout the day activities will include a raffle taking place at 4:00 pm, with a chance to win over 25 prizes; Lobster Darts competition, Horseshoe Tournament Bracket competition and Lobsters prepared to suit every tastebuds.

San Pedro Lobsterfest 2010 Kicks Off at El Divino

The San Pedro Lobsterfest 2010 kicked off in fine fashion last night with a “Meat & Greet” cocktail party at El Divino located at Banana Beach Resort.

Special guest, celebrity weatherman Joey “HOT HOT HOT” Stevens and Bob the Parrot of One Caribbean Weather/WSEE TV attended the event and will be on the island filming the entire week’s events. Joey and Bob travel around the Caribbean and feature different destinations during their weather forecasts and on the One Caribbean Weather Satellite Channel.

The night was a great success and featured drink specials, prizes and live entertainment by Banda Cubana. The Ambergris Caye Dance Club (ACDC) also delighted the crowd with some impressive dance moves. El Divino also introduced their brand new Tapas menu and everyone enjoyed the festivities.

Joey Stevens and Bob the Parrot were on hand for photos as well as mingling with the crowd.

Banana Beach owners Crystal and Jimmy Dean hosted the event.

The Ambergris Caye Dance Company delighted the crowd with some jammin' moves!


Guests could order a sampler tray of the new Tapa's served at El Divino.

Lobster Fest with Joey Stevens!

Lobster Festival activities kicked off on Monday, June 14, with a "Meat and Greet" Cocktail Party at El Divino (Banana Beach Resort) as Lobster season opened on Tuesday, June 15. Arriving on the island on Sunday, June 13, was celebrity weatherman Joey Stevens and Bob the Parrot of One Caribbean Weather/WSEE TV as they will cover the entire week's events leading up to the Lobster Fest Block Party on Saturday, June 19 at Central Park.

Taco Girl officially welcomed Joey, Bob the Parrot and cameraman Robert as they arrived on the island and were given a quick tour of downtown San Pedro on golf cart. They had much fun meeting island residents. They day's schedule included lunch at El Divino, fun at Crazy Canuck's Bar with Derrick and the All Cayed Up Band, cold treats at DandE's and pizza at Pedro's.

Lobster Fest kicked off on Monday, June 14, at El Divino Restaurant at Banana Beach Resort with lots of great food, cocktails, drink specials, prizes and live entertainment by La Banda Cubana. Lobster season opened on Tuesday, June 15, and fishermen headed to their lobster traps as early as 5a.m. to haul in as much lobster as possible. Joey Stevens also part took in the lobster weigh in as he went lobster fishing bright an early with Elito Arceo.

On Wednesday, June 16, Joey and Bob the parrot made a special trip to Indigo (North Ambergris Caye) where they delivered 61 lobster lunches to the staff of Indigo. Later that evening Joey got to enjoy a beautiful Belizean Sunset on board Seaduced's Catamaran. The San Pedro Lobsterfest Pub Crawl also took place and had party goers in a great mood as they had a great time at Lime, Tackle Box & Grill, The Road Kill Bar and ended at the number one spot on Wednesday's here on the island - Wet Willy's for ladies night!

The fun continues tonight at Pedro's Inn - All You Can Eat Lobster Pizza, Lobster Trivia Night and Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament. Be sure to arrive early, Pedro's thin-crust Lobster Pizza is always wildly popular. Also look out for Joey and Bob the Parrot as they tour San Pedro during Lobster Fest 2010! And make sure you don't miss out on the grand block party on Saturday, June 19, at Central Park.

Joey Stevens and Bob on Sunset Cruise

As part his tour of San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, Weatherman Joey Stevens and Bob the Parrot were hosted on board Seaduced by Belize’s Seaduction Catamaran for a Sunset Cruise on Wednesday, June 16. He expressed to Ambergris Today how happy he was of being on the island and that he was having a wonderful time; eager for the Lobster Fest Block Party this coming Saturday. Yesterday Joey visited the Mayan Ruins of Lamanai in mainland Belize.

Joey Stevens sends daily updates to One Caribbean Weather/WSEE TV with short clips of his adventures in San Pedro so you can tune in to local Channel 16 (CBS) during the evenings to watch or log on to One Caribbean Website to view the videos posted between their Caribbean weather updates. Lobsterfest Arts & Culture Festival

Saturday afternoon the first ever Lobsterfest Arts & Culture Festival featuring live music, arts & craft displays and Belizean Cultural was held at Central Park. The festival featured local artists with many working on paintings while exhibiting their creations. From paintings, drawings, fine jewelry, wood carvings and more the crowd enjoyed the rich culture of Ambergris Caye and many had the opportunity to visit with the artists while purchasing unique and beautiful pieces of art, sculptures and jewelry.

Lobster Galore at Lobster Fest!

It was no doubt that, just by looking at the large crowd that showed up at Saturday’s Block Party, Lobster Fest was a huge success. A very large gathering of locals and tourists flooded Central Park on Saturday, June 19, at the culmination of week-long Lobster Fest celebrations. Food was the order of the night with the main dishes being exotic creations of our succulent spiny lobster. Weatherman Joey Stevens and Bob the Parrot of One Caribbean Weather/WSEE TV attended the event and were special invited guest judges for the cooking competition. Here are the winners of the evening.
