If you really want to see some local flavour and meet plenty of Belizeans, the International Costa Maya Festival starts on Thursday night. It is a fabulous event and will give you a real taste of Belize.

Mmmmmm Ms Irene's Bloody Marys are definitely a great way to start the day. Add some steak and eggs and talkin' a little music with Charlie and you have my ideal morning on the island.
