Does anyone have any NEW info on Caye Caulker? I heard there was going to be a fly-over from the British Army to see what the damages might be. I cannot believe another hurricane in such a short time. I pray and hope everyone is Ok and that the damage is smaller then expected. The last storm caused so much clean up and this storm is much worse. I would like any info about anyone if there is any. Like Porfilio Guzman and family,Chocolate & Anne, Patty and OJ, Tage, Iguana reef folks, Ernesto at the Rainbow, Jim Novelo and family, etc. To many to mention. I hope everyone is OK.
Thanks,
Wade

Ham radio reports have indicated a lot of structural damage and a request for food. Have heard no reports of casualties on Caulker, but communication is sporadic. This report is several hours old. I am posting messages minitored by ham radio here under "Ham Radio"
I have a serious interest. my daughter is there.

Good luck.

My name is Irene Miller, I am the owner of the B&B I am in Austin Texas. I spoke to my husband (who is there now) last night on Ham radio, but know nothing since then! How are the conditions now on Caye Caulker. I am now at 512 462 9972. We have heard that only 10 homes remain standing??? I can't believe that. Please reply ASAP if any one has info on Caye Caulker.

I'm trying to get info on Mo Miller who resides on Caye Caulker. He owns the lazy Iguana B&B. He had a house full of guests and one had a 10 month old child. Can anyone give me some info.

Please contact my mobile 512 413 3081 call collect at my home 512 793-5011 or email janice @tstar.net

I heard about there being only 10 houses standing too, but I belive that is only about the backside of the island - the part that faces the mainland. My understanding is that the winds were much worse in that direction and its the smaller structures that were down.

I am leaving for Belize on Thursday hopefully the airport will let us come in. I understand the watertaxi's are running out of Caye Caulker. Is there any phone lines usable? I can't imagine the damage and I feel so hopeless here in the states. Is there s hotline number or anything.
