Yes, there is a Deep Ellum. Not sure if it's the same one the Dead were talking about. Know there's a lot of history to the one here in Dallas, though. Very ecclectic place. Party, party, party...Colorful people...lots of good restaurants right next to tattoo parlors (go figure!). I like it. Cool place.
