Hmm, is is a good thing or a bad thing when you see the chopper? After suspending operations that included providing medical evacuation support I was distressed that we would have one less avenue of assistance in the medical emergency team. But then I was told that the operations might resume soon.

Is it too good to be true?

And of course, if the chopper is here for a medical emergency - it could be quite devestaing for the patient and his family.

Oh my. Life marches on.

I know. I heard it too. It has a different resonance than the Astrum choppers. I know so many of us say a prayer when we hear it. I hope they are back to provide airlift. And, I hope everyone is OK!

I understand in the next few weeks a decision will be made deciding if the entire BATSUB operation remains in Belize period.

If BATSUB leaves I hope the US forces will take over. It is always comforting to have some options.

What is BATSUB and why is it considering leaving?
