Ok guys.... i thought the napkin over the belikin was to keep the bugs out!!! so am i blonde or what??!?!?!?

My guess is to clean the rust that develops from the salt air collected in transit...my 2 cents....

I did too, Debbie!! The napkin is only on the top of the bottle a very short amount of time....for something to rust takes a LONG time...my belief is you remove the napkin...take a long,cold gulp of Belikin mmmmm...put napkin on bar to soak up condensation from bottle!!!????? C....Axeman, if u were closer we'd run ya one over!!!!hehe

Ok My Cheri'..next time your there watch what most of the bartenders do..they pop the cap, put the napkin on the top and twist it around..thereby removeing the rust that forms on the rim of the metal cap..it's a very mimimal amount of rust folks..and the Belikin tastes so good ya never notice it!!!!
The rust forms because the salt air..I've seen it on our boat, when we ran a SportFishing charter for a summer..when we stored the extra beer the rim would rust...that was in the old days when they use to use steel caps..now most are aluminium.
Hey if I'm wrong..it's no biggie!!!! Still sticking to my story...
