Just wanted to post the flag signal info:
The preliminary flag is a plain red flag. This will go up when a Hurricane may threaten within 72 hours.
Red I - 2nd phase - a hurricane may threaten within 36 hours. This flag is red with a large black dot in the middle.
Red II - 3rd phase. A hurricane is likely to strike with 24 hours. This is 2 flags one above the other. Each flag is red with a black dot in the centre of each flag.
Phase 4 - Hurricane has passed. This flag is green.
You need to wait for the all clear phase 4 before you start traveling or attempting to clean up. Remember that the eye of a hurricane can be miles wide and it is calm. You may think that the storm has passed, but you are actually in the middle and the other half of the storm is going to affect you.
The flag should be displayed at the San Pedro Town Council offices and also at the police station.
The most reliable official information will be broadcast on the radio.
The NEMO emergency contact telephone number is 636.

There are a lot of preparedness notes within this message board - run a search. There are check lists and supply lists.
The time to prepare is upon us.
