I'm heading back to San Pedro on November 13th.......just realized that my passport expires on April 11, 2011. So I will not have quite six months remaining. Is this strictly enforced. I own property there, have a Belize drivers license and this is my 22nd visit. Advice please!

It's the airline personnel (at departure) who usually do the initial enforcement - if they won't let you on the plane you are stuck - I would not risk it.
Get a new passport pronto.
I have seen some very ugly scenes in Houston regarding this - getting into a bru-ha-ha with airline personnel these days is not recommended.

Thanks Diane....I'd rather be safe than sorry. Luckily I have time and will pay the extra $60 to expedite it just in case!
