Mexico Rocks Snorkeling tours are changing.
The Snorkeling Tours are more popular and we now have really nice new mooring buoys there.
I used to tell tourist Hol Chan was the best and sell Mexico Rocks as second choice but that has changed also. The reviews/comments I get from people returning from a snorkeling experience there are very positive and almost all say they liked it better than Hol Chan because of the lack of crowds and the Large Brain Corals.
I've noticed the web has lots of backdated information about the area and no descriptions that do it justice.

Got any photos?
Since the Loggerheads hatch further north are we more likely to see them at Mexico Rocks? This would be a great selling point.

I love to go to mexico rocks I prefer it to Hol
chan. I feel like I am looking in a fish tank it is so clear. My son and I snorkled there and watched 8-10 hermit crabs swap homes into the conch shells. Lots of squid lining up in a row, turtles, I could talk about Mexico Rocks all day. I just hope it doesnt become to popular and get crowded like Hol Chan and Shark ray alley.

I am with you on this one. I used to go up with Alvin Kelly (Honduras) in his boat. Does anyone know if Honduras is still around?

I was there yesterday and it was pretty neat. Have not been to the other places mentioned, but there were all kinds of stuff there. A lot of rays, fish and even one of those green eels.

I think it time to do some photography for sure.
Taking some of the pressure/crowds off Hol Chan by creating another popular destination is a good idea.
The list of reasons to market Mexico Rocks is very long.
Very cool place whos time has come.

Is there a fee for Mexico Rocks, like Hol Chan?
