Hello everyone,
I am planning on moving to San Pedro in January 2002 to attend medical school for 20 months. Since I am a "non-traditional" ( that means older ) medstudent, I am trying to locate housing in a quiet residential area and away from the tourist spots. I would prefer a 2 bedroom or 3 bedroom small house but will also consider a quiet apartment. Since my daughter will be attending Island Academy for 7th and 8th grade, a place close to her school would be great. I have contacted several rental and real estate agencies and was amazed at the prices. Are their any local landlords who rent out apartments or houses privately for more reasonable prices? It does not have to be luxurious, just clean and safe. My family and I will be traveling to San Pedro June 5th through June 11 to check out the area, schools, housing ect.
Any information, hints, insights concerning life and housing in San Pedro would be greatly appreciated.
