From Ray, a friend in Santa Elena:
It is a nippy 46 degrees here this morning, just turned the heat on. I would not have been surprised to see a light sprinkling of snow here in the Western hills this morning. If sure felt that way.
Response From Lan:
It got down to 44 degrees at Baldy Beacon in January of this year. The record for lowest temperature ever recorded in Belize in modern times was 38 degrees in, of all places, Punta Gorda in the 1960s. Don't believe there's ever been snow reported in Belize but guess it could happen.
From the Valley: Its chilly here in the River Valley too. We are getting northers blowing around here too.
