Your price is steep considering that the Town Council sets a 150cc limit on permits in San Pedro and the fact that there are a few people who are selling 1-2 year old Honda four stroke 125cc dirt bikes with half the kilometers for $500-$1000 less than yours. Might want to reassess those numbers.

The DT175 is actually a 125cc bike. So no worries on the 150cc limit. There are a few on the island now.

These are the ones they sell in Belize: http://www.marelcobz.com/yamaha/motorcycle.html

5,200 isn't a terrible price if they are in good condition. The yama's and honda's sell for $7,500 to $8,000 new. $5k - $6k used here on the island...and after two years here they are well weathered from the salt air.

I've been looking for something to ride for a while. I know of 3 Honda's, one for $5000, one for $4800, and one for $4000 (higher mileage though), so yeah, thats not too far off.

Des the DT 175 require premixing the oil & gas or does it have separate locations to fill? You dont really see many 2 cycles down here since everyone is either on a Honda, Yamaha (4 Stroke) or a Meilun usually.

I called Marelco yesterday. Brand New this bike is Bz$6,900.

So $5.20 is a good price for a bike with 10km on the clock...........

The Yamaha Corporation says that its a 171cc displacement 2 stroke engine....on 2 different pages of their website. Probably pretty fun bikes either way. The 4 strokes here are a very tuned down versions of what we get in the US, so if you want any sort of power band, then these would probably suffice those who are a bit of a speed junkie.
