Uh, we already have to pay a toll to access that road--it's paid at the bridge every time we cross. $5 BZ each way, each time. Go to town and back four times a day = $40 BZ. Or $150 BZ for a monthly pass. And we already pay property taxes, but still have to pay a fee to access our property. (Maybe we bought on the wrong end of town. Those in the south have a nice paved road all the way to Victoria House and don't have to pay a toll. How did they get that and we can't?) Where is all the money from the toll bridge going? After five years, shouldn't there be enough funds to at least pave the road from the turnabout to the bridge? Sorry...the comment about paying a toll for the road set me off. I know it's a complicated issue.

This old post popped to the top and made me curious. Since Sept. when the tropical storm made a lake from the bridge to the Cloisters nothing has been done and it is all pot holes again.
