Center of circulation is now two thirds across the Yucatan,
approaching Bay of Carmen. The storm system in the SE quadrant hovering
over Belize is now being dragged into the Peten. Only a 10 mile section
of this storm system is still over coastal waters in Belize. Caye
Caulker and San Pedro should have a star lit night. Clear skies. Low
winds less than 30 mph, more like 15 to 20 mph.
Northern Belize still gets rain in the Corozal and Orange Walk districts.
It is over folks! Contact with Caye Caulker tomorrow if the GOB gets
help and communication out there very early. They could make a night
run, it has calmed down so much. San Pedro through Ham Radio has managed
to reassure lots of people about the safety of loved ones. Still no communication with Caye Caulker.
