Glen O'Brian wins 2nd annual Bunas Meheia Birthday cycling classic

[Linked Image] Glen O'Brien of Orange Walk's Zamir Cycling team won the second annual Bunas Maheia birthday cycling classic held under the auspices of the Belize Cycling Association on the Western Highway on Sunday, November 21.

O'Brien completed the 44 mile ride from Mile 3.5 on the Western high way via the Hattieville to Burrell Boom bypass road to the Northern Highway and back, finishing at mile 12.5 on the Western Highway in an hour and 51 minutes 19 seconds to win the elite category.

Michael Dennison Lewis, riding unattached, was hard on his wheel to take second place.

Brandon Cattouse of the C-Ray Cycling Team clocked an hour and 51 minutes 28 seconds to finish third, while Roger Troyer of the Western Spirit cycling team clocked an hour and 51 minutes and 45 seconds to take fourth place. Orson Butler, riding unattached, clocked an hour and 51 minutes and 45 seconds to place fifth.
