A study at University College London in the UK has found that conservatives' brains have larger amygdalas than the brains of liberals. Amygdalas are responsible for fear and other "primitive" emotions. At the same time, conservatives' brains were also found to have a smaller anterior cingulate -- the part of the brain responsible for courage and optimism.

That is absolutely the dumbest statement I have ever read. It was probably meant only for Liberals who are known to be shallow thinkers.

This does not really seem to be an Apples to Apples comparison, as the study of conservative brains was conducted by Neurosurgeons, while liberal brains could only be studied by Proctologists
