Have purchased an Ocean Front Condo near Ramon's Village...anticipate purchasing a 26' Boat... any restriction on anchoring the boat in front of my Condo ?

You will also have to get a captain's license. You'll have to take a written test and then a practical test. They can be done the same day and in San Pedro or Belize City. You'll need to show that you own property (a deed) and your taxes are current.

The question about where to put a boat - assume you are at The Palms ? Check with the HOA for their recommendations - it's not about outside rules & laws, it's more about local neighborly accommodations, customs and practices. Don't barge in and take over a space that's for sure. You and other boat owners will depend on each other for assistance over the years. Being considerate and collaborative makes it work.

I would consider a small mooring with bouy, this will reduce the damage to the sea bottom and everyone will know that is your mooring.
