Wow! I assumed that since Belize used to be British, and is still a member of the Commonwealth, that gas would be in imperial gallons.
1 US gal equal 3.79 liters
Our cost of regular gas today is 99.9 cents Canadian per liter therefore $3.79 Canadian per US gallon. Since the Canadian dollar is slightly higher than the US dollar today, our equivilent cost is about $3.82 US per US gallon. That is a lot cheaper than the cost in Belize. Almost 25%. Of course thats in Alberta. Gas prices vary thoughout the country and are usually more expensive out east or on the west coast.
