We will be staying at Jaguar Paw in the rain forest in Belize in June. The cost is moderate and have heard great things about the place. There is a lot to do there though; hiking, tubing the rivers and caves, night safaris and lots of bird watching. Unfortunately we will not be able to snorkel there because we will be inland. We will be on Ambergris Caye 1st to dive and snorkel. Have a great time!!

Jaguar Paw is gorgeous, but I think Banana Bank Lodge would be less expensive. Also, I like the layout for families, thatched roof cabanas with 2 bedrooms, shared bath, sitting room and porch. Also, it's a great place for kids to roam and there is on site a jaguar, monnkey, scarlet macaws, toucans, lots of horses to ride, canoes to go down river, telescope for star and planet gazing and it is very close to the zoo and easy access to ruins. If you would like more detail, feel free to email me direct at Lots of wonderful places on Ambergris to stay.
