I didn't do any snorkeling, but I did want to say that in my week of diving from AC I saw at least one Hawksbill turtle on every one of my 17 dives. I saw Loggerheads on several dives. There are rays galore and nurse sharks all over, and the occasional Reef or even Bull. Once, there was even a bod of Bottlenose. I have a hard time imagining that one could be dissapointed with not only the numbers of big animals in the seas surrounding AC, but there good health as well. If their numbers had been even half, I still would have been well pleased. I was wanting to see a Hammerhead for the first time, but it didn't happen. No worries, that kind of specific encounter is mostly a matter of luck. There are so many turtles that I don't think you'll need much luck though.
