WOW, Josh. 13 inches of rain on May 27? I was staying about a mile North of SP and looking out the windows was like driving through a car wash - pouring buckets, couldn't see a thing. It was incredible.

I consider myself lucky. When I was there 5/5 to 5/13, absolutely no rain until the last night.

Greetings from Houston and the tropical storm. Houston got 19.5 inches of rain in the past two days!!! The storm is just swirling around and around and around and won't move!!! More rain expected today and tomorrow. Homes and businesses flooded. Some closed down and sent employees home. Many of my coworkers were stranded in their homes. And here I am, supposed to fly out to AC tomorrow...... [Linked Image] [Linked Image] [Linked Image] All of you keep your fingers crossed that no flights will be cancelled. I'm on pins and needles......

Josh -- 4 miles north of SP? That sounds pretty close to "home" to me. Do you live there?

And about the Houston airport! Keep that baby OPEN, and planes flyin! Seriously, I feel for the people who are flooding. Been there, done that, and it is no fun.
