Destination Weddings in Belize, particularly San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, is a fast growing trend, and recently there has been a lot of international attention directed our way. Wedding planners in San Pedro are doing an excellent job in organizing dream weddings for their clients, making for happy brides and promoting our little slice of heaven abroad. One such wedding planner doing an excellent job is Mrs. Iraida Gonzalez of BelizeWeddings. Her wedding planning business has just been chosen to be a part of Destination Weddings & Honeymoons Magazine (DWH) 2011 A-List Planners.

Destination Weddings & Honeymoons Magazine's senior editor Erika Hueneke visited Belize in 2009 on a press trip and met briefly with Mrs. Gonzalez and on February of this year informed Mrs. Gonzalez that the magazine was interested in featuring Belize Weddings as part of their 2011 DWH A-List. DWH A-List of planners is an editorial initiative designed to expose the readers to quality planners while growing a relationship with the best pros in the business around the world.
