A lot of these drinks (OJ & other fruit drinks)are refrigerated because the store anticipates that people want a cold drink. I think there is a large selection of fruit drinks that come both canned and bottled, not needing to be refrigerated for storage.
It's possible that this Tropicana OJ needs to be refrigerated once it's opened, but I'm hoping to find small bottles that could be carried in a backpack or purse in case of a diabetic emergency. We much prefer the fresh orange juice for drinking any other time!
If necessary, we think we could buy a small thermos and fill it with fresh OJ. We're just trying to be prepared because of a mainland tour.
If you go to "Super buy" they sell "Carribean Pride" Orange juice. It is very good, they have several kinds, sweetened, unsweetened, natural and from concentrate. and all from the shelf not the cooler.
