“The assistant manager of a supermarket and resident of San Pedro Town remains hospitalize in a serious but stable condition after he was chopped in the head on Saturday night. The victim has been identified as Firas Haramouch a resident of Coconut Drive. According to San Pedro Police, Haramouch along with his assistant had just finished closing Island Supermarket shortly after 11:00 PM on Saturday. They were in the process of going to their rooms located in the upper flat of the building when they were attacked by 3 men of Hispanic descend. According to police, during the struggled Haramouch was chopped in the forehead while his colleague jumped from the upper flat of the building after fairing for the worse. All three culprits made good their escape before managing to steal anything. Haramouch received a large cut wound to the forehead and was airlifted in an unconscious state to the KHMH. According to police, they immediately launched an investigation which led them to the detention of one person who remains in police custody as part of their investigation. Acting officer in charge of San Pedro Police Formation Sergeant Ernel Dominguez told Love News that he is certain that a number of people might have seen something and is asking any member of the public that might have any information that can lead to the successful arrest of all three culprits to call the San Pedro Police Department.”
