Hi! We are coming to Ambergris Caye later in June and are interested in visiting Lamanai! I am looking for some recommnedations on who gives the best Lamanai tour? We have 5 people in our group so maybe a private tour would be good, or if it is too expensive than maybe as part of a smaller group. Who gives the best value for a tour that doesn't have too many people and isn't too expensive.

Try Tanisha Tours. Daniel gives a fantastic Lamanai tour.

Tanisha Tours has great tours - agree! Daniel Nunez is the best. Private tours are very expensive due to the distance traveled therefore the amount of gas used. I have been to Lamanai with Daniel at least 4 times - he's that good and the experience is just so incredible. It's a great way to see a big swath of Belize and get a good feel for the ruins both at the same time. Plus the wildlife....truly great.

Like everone else ahead of me (and like Beck a mutil-time Tanisha Lamanai adventurer - 5 OR 6 IIRC) I highly recommend Daniel Nunez and could not think of making that trip with anyone else.........the pioneer and probably knows more about the nature of BZ than just about anyone.

Thanks for inputs. I have tried to contact Tanisha Tours a couple times, but have not heard anything back. Does anyone know the best way to get in touch with them since the email on their website doesn't seem to do it?

In that case try Searious or Seaduced. Both do a very good job.

Tanisha is fantastic! No need to make advance reservations before arriving. Stop by their place on the beach. Daniel is far more knowledgeable than any other guide. He is flexible and easy going nice guy If you're looking for a guide that doesn't know as much but offers a less serious adventure then try one of the others.
