Artworks and jewellery and other really nice handicrafts, go to the Belizean Art gallery situated in Fido's, also there's Ambar, also within Fido's for beautiful handmade jewellery made by Elisabeth. Carole Goudreau is down by the Yacht Club and makes some beautiful "barefoot sandals" you can see
here . There are other jewellry makers here some of whom sell in the street (Waldo, Omar) and Veronique who exhibits in Banana Beach. There's a new (?) shop for carvings round by Sunset Grill, I haven't been inside but the carvings are very unusual and beautiful. Graniel's Dreamland has some gorgeous woodworkings, Orange giftshop by Tropic. Mambo Chill on front street has some nice clothing and unusual sandals etc, and jewellery, and Lara who owns
Lemon Crush Belize has arguably the most beautifully crafted and high quality swimwear. Really high end, not as expensive as many places in the US, and each piece is unique. Lara's on the island and you can contact her through the website. I hope this helps!
