Arriving on AC late Saturday (in a few months - early November) and would like to do grocery shopping, book tours for the week, and do some sightseeing in town on Sunday. Are most grocery stores, shops, and tour operators open on Sundays?

Yes. We'll be there in November too. Can't wait!

About the only day during the year you will have trouble finding just about anything is Good Friday. Banks are open 1/2 day on Saturdays. You can find a hardware store, gift shops and tour companies open all days of the week.

Enjoy!

Where is the best place tp pick up a couple of cases of Belikins on Sunday? is the distributor open Sunday?

My first stop is Estel's for breakfast, then to Cholo's sports bar for a cart, next to some of the tour companies to book some trips, on to the Habana S.A. store for some cigars, on to the distributor to get some Belikins, then groceries, the bakery, return the cart, catch the next Coastal Xpress. Hoping to do all the errands Sunday.

You should get in touch with Lagniappe Provisioning prior to your arrival for your beer. The distributor won't be open yet. Email them and they can have it at your hotel or villa before you arrive. [email protected]
