if i was in AC from Sept-December...would it be as rainy and windy as the guide books warn of? People who live there....is it less touristy? thoughts?

Last September was really nice my first here in october it rained for a couple of weeks and november was nice. All except those three days we don't speak about I thought October was one of the nicest months down here.

While still in the rainy season, those months actually aren't that bad. There are days when I found I welcomed the cooling rain.

The season is also less "touristy" but the popularity of the island is changing that somewhat. No matter when you go, you will love the island. Just go and have fun!

I would guess it is probably hit or miss. I went in early December last year and though it was beautiful while I was there, it had just finished raining for over a week straight. The weather when we got here was in the 70s and beautiful.

I was wondering about the weather around the first week of August. Is ther usually a lot of rain & does it affect the diving in AC
