Oct 13, evening: NEMO is usually only activated in the event of a storm threat - but today it issued a warning about the possibility of flooding. That's because a large area of showers and thunderstorm activity is expected to basically sit on top of Belize and produce heavy rainfall.

According to NEMO, there is a high probability that flooding may arise and those living in low lying areas are advised to be on the alert in cases of flash flooding.

Dogs are in the bathroom again. I think we have a new means by which to evaluate the severity of a storm. :-)

Mild - huddled on rug in front of sink
Moderte -shaking in the shower
Severe - panting and jammed in behind the toilet
